Project Overview

I developed a powerful and user-friendly web application that combines my coding expertise with API integration to streamline the management of MikroTik firewalls. This tool is especially useful for firms that handle multiple MikroTik devices and need a centralized, efficient solution for configuration and backup management.

This web application is ideal for IT teams and service providers managing multiple MikroTik firewalls. It simplifies routine tasks, reduces manual errors, and provides a structured, efficient approach to configuration and backup processes.


Key Features

Device Integration via API

The application allows users to add MikroTik devices through the API interface. The primary function is to automate the creation of .rsc backup files for each device.

Configuration Deployment

Users can prepare a custom .rsc configuration file and push it directly to any connected MikroTik firewall via the web interface.

IP Reachability Check

Before adding a device, the system can scan and ping the IP address to verify if it’s reachable—similar to using the ping command in CMD.

Backup Management

After a successful backup, users can download the .rsc file or prepare it for a new push. This ensures version control and quick recovery options if needed.

Live Device Interface

A dashboard lists all added firewalls, showing real-time status (Active/Inactive). Devices no longer in use can be easily deleted from the system.
